Sanford’s favorite biker hang out is back in business.
The Bar Out Back reopened Sunday in what the new owners thought would be a “soft opening.” By 3 p.m., the grounds were packed with more than 500 motorcycles. Bartenders had gone through 50 cases of Bud Light by early afternoon.
Co-owner Frank Ioppolo said he did no prior advertising for the event other than a single post on the Bar Out Back’s Facebook page.
“I think people are happy we reopened,” Ioppolo said.
