A high-tech company broke ground this week on a new facility in Sanford.
Boss Laser LLC (Website) is building a 20,000 square-foot manufacturing and shipping facility in the new Rand Yard Commerce Center industrial park, located at the corner of N. White Cedar Rd. and Church Street (Gmap).
Boss Laser, which makes custom engraving and cutting machines, already operates in Sanford. The new facility will allow the company to expand as sales continue to grow.
With the new building, Boss Laser expects to add 15 new jobs next year.
Precision Building Construction LLC of Orlando is building the tilt-up facility.
