Sanford will add to its country music roots when country music star Chris Janson headlines a concert at the Sonny’s Smokin’ Showdown Invitational, a national barbecue competition.
Janson will be joined by national acts Logan Mize and Craig Campbell. Central Florida-based Hayfire will also perform.
The barbecue competition and concert are set for Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Central Florida Zoo. Both events are free to attend, but there is a $10 charge to park.
Sonny’s Smokin’ Showdown (website | Facebook) is an invitation only competition that features 42 award-winning pit masters from across the U.S. battling for $68,000 in prize money.
