The streets of downtown Sanford will transform into a pet-friendly craft beer festival this Saturday, March 19.
The 5th Annual Pints n’ Paws Craft Beer Festival will benefit Dolly’s Foundation, Pet Rescue by Judy and the companion animals they serve. The event is hosted by West End Trading Co. and Celery City Craft.
Last year’s event attracted some 8,000 people and raised $30,000 for the pet-centered charities.
Paul Williams, owner of the West End Trading Co., says the 2016 event will be be even better and include a “huge selection of fine craft brews and breweries.”
Williams encourages festival goers to bring their dogs and sample craft beers, local foods, live entertainment and a variety of vendor booths.
Popular radio personalities A Mediocre Time with Tom and Dan Podcasts are all set to emcee the event again this year, and there will be tons of fun and entertainment as always. Best Trick and Pet Costume contests are sponsored by Paw Park Place.
100 percent of ticket sales will go to Dolly’s Foundation, Pet Rescue by Judy.
The event begins at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 19 at the intersection of 2nd Street and Palmetto Avenue in downtown Sanford.
Advance tickets are available at West End Trading and Celery City Craft. Will call tickets can be purchased online at pintsandpaws.com. Advance tickets are $25 and includes craft beer sampling from 3 p.m. to 7p.m.
