If you’ve been hanging around the corner of 2nd Street and Park Avenue, you no doubt have noticed the aroma of oak smoke.
Chris and Michelle Johnson, owners of Fuel – the BBQ joint that will soon open next door to the newly expanded Alley Blues Bar – say they are running some tests on their smoker.
Just how soon will Fuel open? Chris says a definite date has not been finalized. The best he can say at this point is “next week.” Might be Tuesday, maybe Monday, or possibly Thursday.
“We’re going to get it open as fast as humanly possible,” said Chris.
I for one can’t wait to satisfy my BBQ craving, and I know plenty of other folks who are hankering for a hunk of smoked meat.
