Sanford will soon be the battleground between two Georgia chicken titans.
As loyal readers to this website remember, Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A will soon raze the Bojangles restaurant at 4590 State Road 46. to build its version of Mecca for suburban soccer moms (“Chick-fil-A coming to former Bojangles site“).
Around the corner from the Chick-fil-A site, Athens, Ga.-based Zaxby’s is planning to build a restaurant on Hickman Drive behind the currently-under-construction Wawa store.
I don’t have a timeline on when either chicken eatery plans begin construction, or even when either may open. When I know I’ll post.
Meanwhile the cows must be elated that Sanford will soon “Eat Mor Chiken.” 😉
