Auto parts store, walk-in clinic going up near Lake Forest

If you’ve driven State Road 46 west of I-4, you’ve probably see heavy equipment moving dirt on the north side of 46 at the intersection of International Parkway/Terracina Drive.

The site is being developed by Orlando-based Elevation Development. Plans call for a 7,300-square-foot auto parts store and a 5,540-square-foot clinic walk-in medical clinic.

The parts store will be an Auto Zone, and the medical clinic will be a CareNow, which is owned by HCA, the same corporation that owns Central Florida Regional Hospital.

The property was slated to be the site of a new Walgreens, however the pharmacy chain has curtailed its once rapid expansion of new stores. Elevation bought the property from Walgreens in July for $1.35 million.
