If you live west of I-4 and like spicy chicken, you’ll be happy to know that Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen will soon open on your side of town.
The restaurant will be located at the northeast corner of State Road 46 and Hawkstone Drive (Gmap), next to the small shopping center with the Subway sandwich shop. The 2,537-square-foot building is already coming out of the ground, and it should open by mid May.
An interesting side note, the restaurant is owned by Guillermo Perales, the 8th largest franchisee in the U.S.. Perales is also the largest Hispanic franchisee in the nation.
Perales’ Dallas-based Sun Holdings, LLC. owns more than 550 franchise stores. The company’s portfolio includes Burger Kings, Krispy Kremes, Arby’s, Golden Corrals, Cici’s Pizzas, T-Mobiles and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchens.

No, I don’t. Maybe check the company website or see if there’s a specific Facebook page for that location. There may also be some sort of signage on site.

Probably, but I’m not sure. I haven’t heard of anything at this point.
