This Saturday, July 29, the New Sanford Initiative and the Bokey Riders motorcycle club are hosting a fishing event for kids at Lake Carolla (the pond behind the Sanford Museum). It starts at 8 a.m. and goes to 2 p.m.

It’s free to all, and you can pre-register before the event on Eventbrite by clicking here.

The chances of catching a fish are pretty good. Courtney Lanier from New Sanford Initiative was out with the Florida Wildlife Commission yesterday stocking Lake Carolla with fish.
