I recently had the chance to talk with Harry T. and Liane Jenkins, owners of Chocolate Compass. The make some delicious treats. They’ve been open for business for about a year.

The Jenkins do have a retail shop open to the public down by Lake Minnie on U.S. 17/92, however most of their business is with hotels, cruise lines and theme parks serving the tourist industry. Harry T. told me that in August alone, Chocolate Compass will make some 20,000 macarons and more than 30,000 bonbons.
